Owners Samuel Lentine and Vincent Frassetto opened Flower City Produce in 1970 with the goal of servicing Rochester restaurants and stores with fresh fruits and vegetables. 40 years of quality food service later, we have developed into a broad line distributor to meet all of your food service needs. We carry a wide variety of fresh produce, a full dairy line, and an extensive line of frozen and non-food products. If I were to write the things I DON’T like about Flower City Produce, I think I would come up with a blank page. The customer service is absolutely second to none. You walk in the door, and everyone knows your name, and immediately asks what they can do to help. The Sales Representatives will go to any length necessary to make sure you have what you need, and that you are happy with the product Which brings me to the point of the company as a whole- produce. If you are looking for the freshest of the fresh, this is the place to go. The staff inspects every item before it ever leaves the warehouse, and you will be hard-pressed to find a product that you are not satisfied with. These guys run a top-notch operation right in Rochester’s own back yard, and they never cease to amaze me.
